Sound as Sanctuary
Restorative Music Experiences for Schools, Communities & Organizations
In a world of constant noise, urgency, and overstimulation, many people rarely experience spaces designed simply to help them breathe, listen, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
Sound as Sanctuary is a restorative music experience created by Girls Write Nashville that uses ambient music, guided listening, reflective prompts, and intentional sound environments to support wellbeing, emotional regulation, connection, and presence.
These workshops and performances invite participants into a different relationship with sound—not as background noise, but as a tool for restoration, expression, reflection, and community care.
Designed for schools, educators, parents, community groups, conferences, wellness events, and organizations, Sound as Sanctuary creates accessible experiences where participants can slow down, regulate, and engage with music in deeply human ways.
