Stay tuned—more afterschool music programs are on the way. New programs coming next year. Enrollment links will be posted here.

Girls Write Nashville partners with MNPS and NAZA to provide free afterschool music programs for middle school students. No experience is required—just curiosity, creativity, and the desire to connect.
Together we’ll spend a year:
Writing songs and learning to produce and record original music
Learning to play acoustic and electronic instruments (or develop your voice if that’s your thing!)
Create in a safe, welcoming space for creative expression
Develop a supportive and inspiring creative community with your peers
Have daily time and support in completing homework
Snacks or meal, afterschool transportation, materials and instruments are provided free of charge!
